Full refurbishment including a ground floor rear extension, loft conversion, and basement excavation in a Victorian terrace house in Southeast London. The emphasis was to create a modern design but retain many of the unique features including cornicing, fireplaces, ceiling roses. It was also key to our client that we recover the quantity of light into the property, to convert it from a slightly dark property to a light, bright, and airy home. This was achieved by opening up the spaces and using glass both externally and internally to allow light to travel through the house.
Basement dig works. Here we hand excavated a full house footmark basement with front light well and an extra under garden room to the rear. The basement was taken to a depth to achieve a remarkable 3.5 m finished floor to maximum height.
Very happy with my new built and loft conversion. The loft looks very open and space-wise it's amazing and it is absolutely perfect. The Real property works were responsive to all of my requests and the cleaning at the end was excellent.
